Our Journey began as the dream of three friends who envisioned something beyond ordinary building projects. With a diverse background in business development, commercial real estate, student housing, low-income housing, and new quality multi-unit construction, we knew we could create something exceptional. Thus, COG was born, driven by a powerful system of connectivity. Our team, united in purpose, moves seamlessly towards fostering a human approach that brings out the best in both our team members and the communities we touch.

I helped start COG because I wanted to create meaningful work and affordable housing and I found doing it alone to be isolating, lonely, and stressful. And I ran out of my own money.

Reason you created COG?: Business is my way to be creative in the world and to be of service. I believe that business and social enterprise can meet in the middle.
I have been in housing for 12 years and feel the need for it. It’s a quiet emergency.
I moved to the Gaspereau area in 2021 with my family and will likely spend the rest of my life here.

Situated on the brand new street in Kentville, Nova Scotia: Hibou Court. This slow traffic, quiet cul-de-sac is situated on a 7-acre spacious parcel of land and has been created to provide a new way of living for all ages.
